PCOS Awareness Nails.

Hey guys! Here today with a special post, today's post is all about PCOS. A fellow nail blogger Nory asked a bunch of girls if they wanted to participate to bring awareness to this devastating condition. She has knowingly suffered with it for 2 years, as well as a few of my other friends.

Here are some good links with info for those that would like to learn more about it. The month of September is awareness month for it.

The Colors for PCOS are teal and white, so not only is this mani about helping a fellow lacquered lover, but the colors are beautiful too. For this mani I used a few different colors all of which are two coats, my thumb and ring finger are Sinful Colors Snow Me White, My pointer finger is China Glaze DV8, My middle finger is Essence Street Styler, my ring finger is China Glaze Custom Kicks, and the glitter over my pinky is Essence Nail Art Twin Clyde. I used Bundle Monster plates BM-314 (pointer), BM-321 (middle) and BM-317 (ring). And last but not least used some rhinestones to make the ribbon on my thumb.

What do you guys think? Are you going to do a PCOS post now? :)

Until next time! Happy painting!

Pinterest Inspiration Week, Day 7, Girly Bows.

Hey guys! Here today with the very last day of Pinterest inspiration week! And just like yesterday it's my favorite colors, pink! Today's pin is here, and just like yesterday there is no blog that goes along with it. This time my nails are a bit different, just the stamp was the inspiration.

Just like yesterday as well I used a China Glaze from the Summer Neon collection. I used two coats of Pink Plumeria on all except my middle finger which was one coat of Kleancolor Metallic Pink. I used Bundle Monster plate BM-317 for the stamp which was the Kleancolor on all but my middle finger and the China Glaze on the middle.

I did go over the bows with a small thin nail art brush because I was having a little bit of an issue with the full image transferring, as well as to make the line for the rest of the bow on the nail. After all of that was done I added a little pink bling in the form of a nail art rhinestone in the middle of each bow.

This is only the second time I've ever done bows and this is so girly it's killing me! I love it!! I can't wait to see what the girls at the gym say :D

What do you guys think?

Until next time! Happy painting!

Happy Independence Day!!

Hey guys! Happy Independence Day!!! Well for my US followers anyway, I know it's different in every country :P Today is a day where I proudly show off my red, white and blue! I am a southern girl, from a military town, and the old man is an ex Marine, so yes patriotism, we haz it!

I couldn't for the life of me figure out what I wanted to do for today's mani, so I just decided to do something different on each hand :P

On my right I sponged Red (OPI The Color of Minnie) White (Sinful Colors Snow me White) and Blue (China Glaze First Mate) at a slight slant on each of my nails. On my ring finger I used red, silver and blue rhinestones to bling it out!! After the sponging was dry I stamped over them with an image off of the Lilac A01 that seemed to be perfect for the occasion. Now if only I was better at stamping!!

Side note I ordered the new Bundle Monster set today, so I should be doing more stamping soon!

My right hand I painted red with OPI The Color of Minnie (2 coats), and topped it one thick coat of Elemental Styles U.S.A.-mericium.

I think I have just about all of it in this mani, sponging, bling, stamping, glitter, phew!! I'm ready to grill and watch some fireworks!!

And bottle shots

What do you guys think?

Have a SAFE and fun filled day, please call a DD if you are drinking and watch out for the crazies on the roads!

Until next time! Happy painting!

Halloween stamped nails

Hey guys! More Halloween nails! I think next month is going to get boring :P

Last night I changed my candy corn nails up but was just to "eh" to do something super fancy, so I grabbed my Konad m57 (I think?) plate (the only one I have btw) and off I went.

I used Orly fresh for my green, then topped it with one coat of Pumpkin Nail Enamel in glow in the dark green. I used WnW ink well to use for the stamping, then added a few orange rhinestones along with the accent nails.

Sorry for the chip wear on my pointer, I took the pictures tonight instead of last night when I did them :P I also did clean up in a dark room so it's not the best in the world, like I said I was feeling "eh" lol :P

What do you think? They do glow in the dark but I'm horrible with pictures evidently :P lol

Until next time! Happy painting :D

Butter London, Halloween mani #2

Hey guys! In yesterday's nail mail I received my first Butter London polish, a beautiful pink creme called Primrose Hill Panic. I *had* to use it right away!

It only took ONE coat! I could have done two for good measure but I was happy with the one, and it is just like the name, butter! I am officially in love, and I'm going to *need* more of these polishes!

So after I painted them I wanted to use some more of my Halloween stamp designs from Konad plate 13, which is also being given in my Halloween giveaway, then for good measure I added a few silver rhinestones (I don't have black ones yet *sad*) to each accent nail too :)

Here's how it turned out :)

How do you think it turned out?

Until next time! Happy painting :D

Blue and orange :)

Hey guys! Yep you know it, it's Thursday which means blue and orange for my meeting at school :) I have a lot of new followers so for those of you that don't know, I'm president of AGS (alpha gamma sigma) Honor Society at my school this semester and our school colors are dark blue and bright orange. So showing pride in my club I do my nails school colors for every meeting :) I know, I'm corny, but it's cute right?! My teachers love it ;)

Since there aren't really many options with dark blue and orange I had a hard time coming up with something this week. I've used "scat" a franken by the lovely Laurie here, I did a dry water marble here, I used some Kleancolor holos here and now for this week!

I used the same orange I've used in the past because it's perfect. It's China Glaze papaya punch, and instead of doing any dark blue nails I decided to bling out my ring finger with orange and blue rhinestones instead. I got SO many compliments on it today!! I also may be bringing a few girls to the dark side mauahahah ;)

So there's how it turned out, simple but not all at the same time lol. My ring finger has 39 rhinestones on it btw, and I individually placed them O.o

So what do you guys think? Any ideas for my blue and orange mani for next Thursday?! I would LOVE to hear your ideas!

Until next time, happy painting!

Sinful Colors forget now, and bling!

Hey readers :) I've had a very busy weekend reading and writing for my English 4 class, Gothic novels to be exact, interesting huh? Yea well this weekend was more about work than play for me!

I did however get a chance to take that beautiful purple off and change to pink! Once again I had my boyfriend pick out the color I was to wear, I made him choose from the new Sinful Colors I just purchased on Thursday and he chose "forget now". It is a beautiful dark shimmery pink. Took two coats and I topped it with Seche Vite. I was a bit bored, so I broke out the rhinestones again and added turquoise ones to my ring finger on my left hand. I love the color combo together, and it's just enough bling to make me feel not so boring :)

What do you think?

What designs do you make with your rhinestones? Or what would you do if you had them?

Until next time, happy painting!
