Butter London Knackered

Hey guys! Here today with another duo-chrome, which of course means it's a PITA to photograph :P But she is beautiful!!

Knackered is a sort of grey base (in shade in looks grey) with a green/purple duo-chrome and holographic glitter. It's beautiful in the sun!

I used two thick coats because it is a bit on the thin side, but it worked out good for me. It's defiantly not an in your face color.

OPI and Glitter Gal lizards!

Hey guys! Here today with two different gorgeous lizard polishes. OPI Just Spotted the Lizard is from the new Spiderman collection, and was the only one I really felt like I needed to have. Glitter Gal Lizard Belly, has been around a while and I've had mine since before they even changed the bottles.

This mani is two coats of both, I tried hard to capture the duo-chrome of the OPI but I found it difficult, it's a sage green/gold mixture. The Glitter Gal is holo ;)

OPI Gone Gonzo and Fresh Frog of Bel Air

Hey guys! This is the second post of before I got my acrylic overlay done. But it's still super pretty! I felt in a very blingy mood the day I did this, I wanted to use Gone Gonzo then saw Fresh Frog of Bel Air and decided to use that one too.

Both of these polishes are very pretty, but Frog needs a base coat of some other color, because even three coats didn't give me full coverage. I also used three coats of Gonzo but it covered better, weird right? I'm kind of in love with Gonzo, I love blues on my skin tone and a blingy blue is even better!

Holographic Gradient O.O

Hey guys! Here today with another group post with some other nail bloggers and I, this time our challenge was to do a gradient mani. I dug through my polishes and wanted to do something different, so not only did I use EIGHT different colors, but they are ALL holo!!! O.O

So for this one I did no base color, I individually sponged on each color, I didn't use the sponge all at once technique, I don't really like that way honestly.

The green to blue colors from top to bottom are L8R G8R, He's going in circles, Kaleidoscope him out and DV8, the purple to pink from top to bottom are LOL, 2NITE, How about a tumble and QT. All polishes are China Glaze.

Make sure and check out all the other ladies below that participated!

Until next time! Happy painting!

Zoya Neeka

Hey guys! I'm sorry I have been MIA, this month is super crazy!! This is one of the two polishes I told you about on the last post, this was before I got the acrylic nails.

Super fast updates, I graduate (actually walk) for my AA today! I finished last semester but the graduation is only in the spring. Saturday we head out for Vegas! On the way we are going to stop at Bakersfield National Cemetery and take flowers to the old man's dad's grave, and we are also going to hit up Calico ghost town :) We will be there until Tuesday, because my mom and step dad will be there, yay!

Anyway today's post is Zoya Neeka, a pretty purple with tons of glass flecks. This is two coats with a top coat. I'm not going to lie, it's darker than I expected, still pretty but darker for sure.

Splatterday! Splatter mani!

Hey guys! Yes holy crap I'm alive, and this post is out of order (the two after it were actually done before this one :P) but I'm already a day late on it. I promise I'll be back soon! My last finals are Tuesday and Wednesday!

So a bunch of my fellow polish ladies did a "splatterday" for yesterday, but I was a bit late, better late than never right!? So everyone had some sort of splatter mani.

Messy you say? Why yes, yes it is! BUT I did the same trick a lot use for the water marbles, and taped up around my nails to catch the huge mess, and it did pretty good!

So yes my nails look different, I have gone to the dark side. As much as I tried my nails kept breaking just on the corners which meant I had to go back to nubbins over and over, I was tired of it, so yesterday I went and got acrylic overlay (this was the length of my nails already, with just corners missing, heh). They screwed up my cuticles (what else is new) so clean up isn't super perfect because the remover hurt *pout* BUT the splatter looks good!

The base here I believe is China Glaze towel boy blue (?) I got that put on at the salon, I used China Glaze OMG and Wet N Wild ink well for the black. Just used a normal bendy straw, dipped the end in the polish (on a plate) and tried to do a fast hard blow to get the polish out. Considering this is only my second splatter I'm pretty pleased!

OHHH I have picked my winners btw, I need to purchase the two gift certificates and I'll announce in the next day or two!

FLOAM!!

Hey guys!! YES!! it's true, I'm alive! Almost done for the semester and I am ready for a break!! I've been keeping the same polish on my nails for days at a time, which isn't like me, because I'm so busy!

Quick updates, my contest ends in just a few days!! Follow the link and post your mani! I told all of you about my son having a seizure a while ago, and last week we finally got in to see a pediatric neurologist, he diagnosed Brendan with epilepsy and started him on meds to prevent him from having seizures. Since we started the meds last Friday he has been sleeping better which in my mind is a good sign! We got the call today, and now his EEG is scheduled for May 21, keep your fingers crossed we get some good news!

So onto my nails, sorry these pics aren't in my light box, the family room (where I have it) is all torn up and I'm too lazy to go down there right now, haha. Five hours of yardwork Sunday will do that to ya! So anyway as a belated birthday present from the lovely Amy at I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous she sent me the amazing Floam! Talk about an awesome polish. I honestly cannot figure out how to explain it, it's blue, green and yellow what I guess you could call matte glitters? Whatever it is is awesome! I'm sure some of you know of it :)

This is two coats after TWO full days of wear, and still perfect!! Clean up is a &8^?/ but well worth it!
