Incoco nail strips, leopard!

Hey guys! Today I used my nail strips that I got in my Sept Birchbox, and they are awesome! Mine are called "femme fatale"

They were pretty easy to put on, although you have to be careful not to have creases in them, my thumb on my left hand ended up with a crease :/ You file off the end leftover just like other nail strips, and I used my tweezers to get the extra on the sides off, then cleaned up with some acetone, and topped it with a top coat :)

They have some super cute designs that range from $8.99 to $10.99 on their website, Incoco

What do you think?

Until next time, happy painting!

Butter London, Halloween mani #2

Hey guys! In yesterday's nail mail I received my first Butter London polish, a beautiful pink creme called Primrose Hill Panic. I *had* to use it right away!

It only took ONE coat! I could have done two for good measure but I was happy with the one, and it is just like the name, butter! I am officially in love, and I'm going to *need* more of these polishes!

So after I painted them I wanted to use some more of my Halloween stamp designs from Konad plate 13, which is also being given in my Halloween giveaway, then for good measure I added a few silver rhinestones (I don't have black ones yet *sad*) to each accent nail too :)

Here's how it turned out :)

How do you think it turned out?

Until next time! Happy painting :D

Halloween Nail Mail!

Hey guys! Today I got some nail mail, from who else but my love Jessica :D She sent me 9 polishes! woohoo :D

I updated my stash list already with them too ;) I'll try to keep up with that as best as I can!

She sent my Butter London (my first one!) primrose hill panic, Sally Hansen pumpkin spice, Orly sweet peacock, and a bunch of pumpkins! they are all un-named, so on my stash list their "names" are just the description of what they are :P She also sent me Fantasy Makers loose holo glitter powder, and a glow in the dark body glitter :D I am SET for Halloween!

I took a few close-ups of the glitter pumpkins, the first is a dark grey/black glitter with silver moons, next is a black and orange bar glitter, and the light orange has tiny little holo glitter in it. The other glitter is round orange pieces and I didn't think it needed a close up :) three of the 6 pumpkins are glow in the dark too! So exciting :D

So what do you think?

Until next time! Happy painting! :)

First Halloween mani of the season!

Hey guys! Today I got the Konad plate 13 in the mail today (I ordered two, one for myself and the other for my Halloween giveaway) Even though I know it's not October yet, I just *had* to try it out!

I have never used any sort of stamping up until today! So I'm really pleased with how it came out! The green color is Sinful Colors Innocent, with Wet N Wild (OTP collection) Tangled In My Web. I used WnW Ink Well (also OTP) for the stamp because I don't have the Konad stamping polish yet :P I topped it all off with Fantasy Makers Night Glow (a glow in the dark top coat)

The glow polish works pretty well but I could NOT get a picture of it to save my life!

So here it is, I'm calling this mani "Zombie Girl"!

What do you guys think?

Until next time! Happy painting!

Glitter....well and some polish ;)

Hey guys! you know what today is! Thursday! Which means blue and orange mani for me! For all my new readers, I'm the president of the honor society at my college, and our school colors are dark blue and orange :)

Today was club rush for the semester and it took a lot of planning and organizing, and well let's face it, stressing on my part to get it all together. So after the event (from 10-1) we counted up all our money, we sold tri-tip like we always do ;) and we made $368.05!!! :D So I'm super proud of my members and myself!

So here is the mani I had today, pardon the dry fingers, I forgot my lotion in my bookbag today! O.o

So it's Chine Glaze starboard, with loose orange glitter on top :)

Until next time! Happy painting!

Essence nail art twins, Bonnie & Clyde

Hey guys! I received all my nail art twins from Spain in the mail yesterday and decided I *had* to use Bonnie & Clyde first!

Bonnie is a dark turquoise blue that went on in only one coat (woohoo!!) and Clyde has turquoise glass fleck glitters, and big square shaped silver glitters. You can wear them on their own or together :)

Funny this is the girl that sits beside me in Bio today asked me if these were some of the ones I was waiting on from Spain lol! I guess I talk to much, maybe I'll pull her to the dark side ;)

I am in LOVE with these! and I honestly don't even want to take them off tonight to try something new, even though I have so many twins to try now! funny right?

Both pictures are outside with no flash, first in the sun second in the shade.

What do you think?

Until next time! Happy painting!

International nail mail!

Hey guys! Today when I got home from school I had a great big smile on my face!! All of my Essence twins arrived from Spain! And even better? in less than a week!! Not only that, but 7 of the 8 from the On The Prowl collection by Wet-n-Wild arrived too!

I was stoked! 23 polishes in all (two for a giveaway to be announced later, two for a friend and the rest are mine!), what a great way to start off the week!!

From the top left we have Romeo & Juliet, Thelma & Louise, Chuck & Blair, Bonnie & Clyde, Bella & Edward, and Gabriella & Troy. The OTP collection we have correction tape, jungle fever, ready to pounce, behind closed doors, buy me a drink, ink well, and cougar attack. Not pictured is tangled in my web (which I bought this weekend, woohoo!)

What do you think? Did any of you get awesome beginning of the week nail mail?

Until next time! Happy painting!

My first frankens!

Hey guys! Yesterday I started to try my hand at doing frankens, for those of you that don't know it's making your own polish! You start with whatever base polish you want, add color, glitter etc to get it the way you want it :)

I just bought some cheap WnW polishes (two clear and one purple) because I didn't want to mess up my polish :P I had ideas already and bought some glitter.

I like how all three of them turned out, BUT I wish they were jelly bases (I don't know where to find those)

From left to right you have spooky pumpkin, franken-berry, and black widow. First picture is one coat, second picture is two coats.

Spooky Pumpkin has green, orange and black glitter in it. Franken-Berry is purple with green glitter, and Black Widow is a light red with red and black glitter :)

What do you think?

Until next time! Happy painting!

Orly royal velvet

Hey guys! So as far as I know you cannot buy royal velvet in stores anymore (but you can find it online) but it was on my wish list, when one of the lovely ladies in F&F posted that she needed to get rid of some polish, and it was on her list I jumped on it!

I'm not really sure what you would classify this polish as, not really a multi-chrome but not really a docherome (sp?) either, either way it's really pretty! With one coat it's not completely sheer but you can see bald spots, and it's a dark purple color. Add a second coat and it's this subtle shimmery dark blue, so pretty! I took a few pictures trying to capture the different shades to it :)

First one is inside with flash, inside with natural light, and two outside.

It's pretty right? :)

Until next time! Happy Painting!

Orly star of bombay and Fantasy Makers creepy pumpkin

Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I last posted, I've been super busy with school and home stuff!

This was last weeks school spirit mani :) The dark blue is Orly star of bombay, and the orange on my ring finger is Fantasy Makers creepy pumpkin (which really surprised me! It's not nearly as sheer as I thought it would be!) the Orly was one coat, and the Fantasy Makers was two coats. I used a small nail art brush to write my Greek letters on my ring fingers :)

What do you think?

Until next time! Happy painting :)

Orly rock solid, and Saturday's haul

Hey readers, hope you all had a great weekend! I was able to take a short drive up to Fresno (about 40 minutes away) to go to my Ulta, number one on my list was to get the Fantasy Makers Halloween polish for a Halloween themed giveaway I will be doing very soon.

Last night I used Orly rock solid, which is one of the new mineral FX polishes, and I love it soo much! I *need* to go get the rest of the collection!

In the pictures it looks kind of bumpy, but it's not at all! There is something in it to make it have that effect and I LOVE it! To me it looks like blinged up concrete! There is holo glitter scattered through out the gun metal grey type color and it's just beautiful.

Isn't it pretty? Do you have any of this collection yet?

So my haul from this weekend wasn't too too much, but it was what I went for! While I was looking for the WnW on the prowl collection (at CVS) I found two more colors of Fantasy Makers that Ulta didn't have, which was exciting! But no otp collection :(

I bought one full set for myself, one full set for my giveaway that I'm getting together, and a few others for my friend Jess. I also picked up two Ulta brand polishes material girl and envy, as well as Zoya Jem.

My camera for some reason would NOT focus on the first picture, sorry about that! The second shows the Fantasy Makers colors, from left to right you have black magic (hard to tell in the picture but it has glitter in it), night glow, purple potion, creepy pumpkin, black pearl and vamp red (the last two were from CVS)

Until next time! Happy painting :)

Orly fowl play, and nail mail!

Hey guys :) So today I got a pleasant surprise! I knew Jess had sent me nail mail, but I wasn't expecting it yet. My mail came and no box, but no biggie I figured I would get it tomorrow, so a little later my neighbor comes by and says "this got delivered to our house" SCORE! woohoo!! I had already planned on a color for tonight but nail mail changed my mind there!

Since she is so awesome, and my area is HORRIBLE for finding anything (and no I'm so not being dramatic) she sent me Revlon blue mosaic, starry pink, and facets of fuchsia, Orly fowl play and rock solid, I also got my first EOS (chap stick in a ball that smells and tastes yummy!) some Halloween nail decals, and cupcake stickers :D I tell her all the time but I am lucky to have her as a friend <3

I figured I HAD to use fowl play since it's so sought after right now. It's beautiful and I wish I had a better camera to catch all the colors in it! The base is a jelly (or so it seems to me lol) that is a plum color, there are blue and purple tiny glass flecks and orangish flakies, it's beautiful! I can't wait to see it in the sun in the morning :D

Ignore the green polish on my hand lol...evidently I transferred that while I was taking it off :P

So what do you think?

Until next time, happy painting!
